Arshad Warsi recently made the director of his home production quit the film after shooting it.
In a rare incident in Bollywood, Arshad Warsi made Kabeer Kaushik the director of his home production Hum Tum Aur Ghost quit the film after shooting the entire film.
Arshad, who threw out the director after the two allegedly had creative differences, will now be taking control of the post-production work of the film into his own hands.
If sources close to Arshad are to be believed, he was quite impressed with Kabeer Kaushik’s work as a director, when the two worked together in Saher. But unfortunately, the understanding both of them had did not last long, as the two started to have problems as soon as they started working for Hum Tum Aur Ghost.
The sources add that the two had repeated discussions during the shooting, which more than often turned into heated arguments. Though, the two somehow completed the shooting of the film, when their arguments continued on the editing table with the two having huge differences about the scenes to be kept in the film, Arshad thought it was appropriate that he parts his ways with the director.
Giving reasons of the director’s outset, the sources said that since Hum Tum Aur Ghost is the first film to be produced by Arshad under his own banner, it is very close to his heart and he was very stressed with the fact that the film wasn’t shaping up as per his wishes due to his alleged differences with the director.
Arshad tried to downplay the entire episode by saying that as a producer, it was both his right and duty to see to it that they make a good film and by indulging in an argument, he is ensuring precisely that. He said that he had no personal differences with the director.
Kabeer Kaushik on the other hand refused to say anything on the issue.
After he made the director of his home production quit the film after shooting it. Arshad has now taken Hum Tum Aur Ghost completely into his own hand. If the film fails now, the only person to be blamed would be Arshad himself.
