If there is one man in Bollywood, whom controversies seem to follow, it’s Madur Bhandarkar. No, it’s not the media, which is saying this but finding himself in the midst of a new controversy, its Madur himself, who feels this way.

While Madhur was recently in Macau to unveil the first look of his new film Jail, back home, he has been accused by a rather small producer named Rajan Sharma of going back from his promise to make Jail under his banner.

Says Sharma, “After his promise and initial discussions on the project, whenever we tried to contact Madhur, he kept delaying the project. And now we get to hear that he has completed Jail. Which Jail has he completed?"

But, within the industry, not many are subscribing to what Rajan Sharma is trying to say. Madhur’s film has been in news for quite some time now and if Rajan Sharma wanted to actually accuse Madhur of cheating, he should have done it earlier.

Even Madhur understand that. He says, “We launched the film in Taj Lands end and we did a big launch. Then no one came.” He continues, “I am not the kind of a director, who works keeping things under a wrap. People know what I am making as the title itself reveals a great deal about the concept and story of my film. So, if anyone had any kind of objection, he should have spoken earlier.”

Madhur says he is not distracted by any such claims as similar claims were made when his earlier films Page 3 and Fashion were about to release. Right now, his priority is to finish and release Jail and his entire focus is on that only.
