Om Puri is unhappy with his wife for making some of his deepest secrets about his private life public.
If you thought Shiney Ahuja was the only Bollywood actor, who allegedly had an unethical relation with his maid, you are probably mistaken. Veteran Bollywood actor Om Puri tried to have a similar relation with his maid and that too at a tender age of 14. This and other such accouters , which the actor had that were till now buried as secret in his heart have now come in open through the biography of Nandita, Om Puri’s wife.
Om Puri is of course, very upset wife for revealing some of the deepest secrets of his life and says he is never going to forgive her for this. The actor has reportedly said that he had shared these deepest secrets of his life with his wife as a good husband and didn’t have even the slightest idea that she is going to mention this in her book.
A rather bitter Om Puri said that his wife had used him for publicity of her book. He added that whereas he had no right of stopping her from writing whatever she wanted to, he would have appreciated if she had shown him the final script before going public with some of the deepest secrets of her husband.
Om Puri also alleged that he has been misquoted at places and some of the relations that he cherished have been mentioned in the book as sexual encounters.
Om Puri, who was shooting in Chandigarh is said to have called up his wife when he came to know about inclusion of these stories and his wife’s book, and expressed his unhappiness over it.
Om Puri’s wife Nandita now says that her husband is right in being unhappy over some of his deepest secrets about his private life being made public through the book. She says though her book was primarily on her husband, it is unfortunate that rather than speaking about his over-all personality, the book seems to focus only on his sexual life. Nandita blames the entire mess-up on a journalist friend of her, who helped her by interviewing Om Puri for the book. Nandita says that the journalist added some comments that the actor had made in the interview, which were not supposed to be included.
