There have been widespread opposition against Mahesh Bhatt’s new movie Tum Mile because of the alleged charges against his son Rahul Bhatt for being involved in anti-national activities.

This could probably be the worst time for Mahesh Bhatt’s son Rahul to come under the scanner of security agencies when Tum Mile the new film from one of the banner owned by the Bhatt Family Visheh Films hits the theatres.

Protesters in Ahmedabad stopped the screening of Visheh Film’s new film Tum Mile after the name of Mahesh Bhatt’s son Rahul got associated with David Headley, who allegedly was involved in terrorist activities in India.

The party workers shouted slogans against Mahesh Bhatt, fired crackers in the cinema halls, destroyed the posters of the film and forced people to get out and leave the theatres.

The workers of Mahagujarat Janata Party tried to stop the shows of Tum Mile in Ahmedabad and Rajkot and said that they will not allow the screening of the film. They added that they would go from one cinema hall to another stopping screening of the movie.

The cinema hall owners across Ahmedabad have now asked for police protection so that the halls and the life of those, who spend the money to watch the movie does not have any kind of risk.

Though, the cinema hall owners have demanded police protection to safeguard their halls, they are not unduly worried about the shows of the film being stopped by the workers of Mahagujarat Janata Party. They say that the widespread opposition against Mahesh Bhatt’s new movie because of the allege charges against his son for being involved in anti-national activities has not affected the movie’s chances at the box office, which had no takers in any case.
