Bollywood stars walked the ramp a couple of days back for a cause.
Though Salman Khan may be the bad boy of Bollywood, but when it comes to social causes and helping people, he is always in the forefront. And this time around, Salman has not only helped others himself but also encouraged some of his close friends to lend a hand in a good cause. Salman Khan and his charity Being Human organized a fashion show, where many Bollywood stars walked the ramp.
The fashion show saw many big Bollywood stars like Aamir Khan,Katrina Kaif, Saif Ali Khan, Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn, Sanjay Dutt and Govinda, walking the ramp.
And these stars wore the clothes designed by eight designers. These included Gavin Miguel, Shane and Falguni Peacock, Rocky S, Rohit Gandhi and Kunal Rawa.
While speaking on the occasion, Salman said, “Its good to be paid for what you do. But when one does something like the one we have done today, it gives a lot more pleasure.”
Salman’s good friend Katrina Kaif, who was also a part of the show said, “It is a show which is in support of ‘Being Human’ which is a charitable foundation and I think it’s a wonderful thing that people who are important in society and who have a name in society, use that name to contribute to a good cause and I feel its wonderful that everybody really came out tonight to support the cause.”
Along with the Bollywood stars, the occasion also saw some small kids walking the ramp.
This show actually had a lot more significance than just being another other show, where Bollywood walked the ramp. Whereas on one hand it showed the goodwill that Salman enjoys in Bollywood, which made so many stars together on a single platform by just making one request ,on the other hand, the absence of stars like Shahrukh Khan shows who really are Salman’s friends in the industry.
