Abbas-Mustan have lodged a complaint against Karrina Kaif in producer’s association.
The famous director duo of Abbas-Mustan are highly upset with Katrina Kaif and have lodged a complaint against her for refusing to do their film with them after initially saying a Yes to it.
Reports suggest that Abbas-Mustan had signed Katrina for their first home production after the famous direction duo decided to turn producer and make the Hindi version of Italian Job. The lead lady of Bolywood, who had agreed to be a part of the project and had even taken a signing amount for the film, later decided to not work in it.
Reacting to Katrina’s decision, Abbas-Mustan said, “We feel shocked, hurt and extremely disappointed with Katrina’s behavior. We never expected her to behave in such a manner with us. We have worked with many big stars from Shahrukh Khan to Akshay Kumar but this is the first time that anyone has behaved in such an unprofessional manner with us. We have never hurt anybody and never spoken ill about anyone and neither do we intend to do that now but we are still in shock as to why Katrina walked out after liking and approving the script and saying yes to it.”
Reports indicate that the director duo was shocked when after agreeing to do the film, when they called her for some production work, Katrina allegedly refused to answer their calls. Though initially Abbas-Mustan did not worry thinking that Katrina might be busy with her work and may call back later, but when this did not happen they were forced to inquire about further details from her secretary. It was then that they were informed about Katrina’s decision to walk out of their film because she was more keen to do a Yashraj project and had opted out of their project so that she can give the same dates to Yashraj films.
Though the director duo is very upset with Katrina, they cannot do anything about it. They have now lodged a complaint against her in producers association to get back the advance money hey had paid to Katrina.
