Aamir khan
Mr. Perfectionist Aamir Khan is not only a good actor but also a good sportsman and can give you a run for your money when it comes to playing badminton. This was proved when the actor beat Deepika Padukone and her father Prakash Padukone in a friendly match held between the two. Aamir is said to have pared with Aparna Popet in the match.
Aamir Khan and Deepika Padukone were recently invited as chief guest at the annual badminton tournament held at the academy run by one time badminton champion and Deepika’s father Prakash Padukone.
Deepika was of course not surprised or upset in any way when she lost to Aamir in the friendly match held between the two. She said, “I know that Aamir plays badminton at the Khar gym. He is extremely fit person and a great player. It was an incredible experience to play with him."
Alongside, Deepika also got a little emotional as she recalled her father’s valuable contribution to the sport. She said that her father was a great badminton player and an inspiration to all the players whom he had coached or those who had taken up the sport after watching him.
Deepika also said that having a badminton academy was a great achievement for her father, who at some point of time had even played and trained people in shaadi mandaps.
