So Shahrukh Aamir patch up was all business and no friendship. The fans of Aamir and Shahrukh were heaving a sigh of relief that the two stars have decided to keep their differences aside and be friends. But truth is something else. Shahrukh Khan and Aamir Khan did forget their tiff for a while and came together on the same platform to fight for producers right, but it was purely a business decision. Now the question is why did the duo decide to spend time at Karan Johar’s residence? The answer is it was purely a business meeting to discuss the producers multiplex owners imbroglio and nothing else.
These days Bollywood heroes have better business acumen than their yesteryears counterparts. Most of the leading Bollywood stars are producers too. Karan Johar has invited most of the young producers to his residence including Akshay Kumar, Sif Ali Khan, Aamir Khan and Shahrukh Khan. Akshay and Saif were out of town, so Aamir and Shahrukh attended the meeting.
An industry insider says, “Both Shahrukh and Aamir have a good relationship with most multiplexes and hence Karan felt that if the two tried to intervene then it would just work for the greater Good of the industry.”
He continues further, “Both Aamir and Shahrukh are professional. They will never let their personal differences come in the way of their work. Also with the IPL round the corner, Shahrukh will get busy with that too and so he wanted to address the media about his stand on the situation before he leaves for South Africa. Till date he hasn’t openly addressed the public about his stand on the situation and they have just united for this only.”
Well, people were reading too much into this much touted professionalism. But kudos to both of them that they still decided to look beyond Shahrukh Aamir tiff and came together for a cause.
