Aamir Khan recently showed Peepli Live to his friends.
Many celebrities came together when Aamir Khan organized a special screening of his home production Peepli Live for his friends. The evening brought together celebrities not only from the world of Bollywood but other professions as well.
Apart from Aamir and his wife Kiran, the evening saw the coming together of Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor, Sachin Tedulkar and his wife Anjali, Sonakshi Sinha, Salman’s sister Alvira Agnihotri, Deepika Padukone and Sidhartha Mallya,, Rani Mukherjee, Juhi Chawla, Kangana Ranaut and director Raju Hirani.
Everyone present at the occasion seemed to have loved the film. Salman Khan, who enjoyed the film a lot said, “I have become a great fan of Aamir Khan after this film.” Coming out after watching the film, Salman gave Aamir the title of Mr. Midas Touch or one, who can turn soil into gold. Salman insisted that the press must watch the movie because they can learn a few lessons from it.
One other person, who seemed to be highly impressed with the film was Aamir’s good friend and Indian cricketer Sachin. He said, “The film was very nice and touching.”
Though rest of the people present at the screening did not say much to the press but reports suggest that they too enjoyed the film.
Aamir had one more separate screening of the film later, where he invited only the Bachchan family.
Needless to say, Aamir was very happy with the response he got from all his friend, who saw the film. But one more person, who was very happy was Omkar Das Manikpuri, as his portrayal of Natha was praised by everyone present after Aamir showed the film to them. Omkar later joined Aamir to thank all the guests for their presence at the occasion.
