Abhishek Bachchan said No to work in the Tamil version of Raavan.
Abhishek Bachchan refused to work in a film directed by Mani Ratnam called Raavan. Whereas this piece of news may confuse you because Abhiskek is a part of soon to be released film, but the truth is that this information is fully true except the fact that Abhishek refused to work in the Tamil version of the film.
Reports suggest that whereas in the Hindi version of the film Abhishek plays the character of Beera and Vikram plays Dev, director Mani Ratnam was keen that the two actors swap their roles in the Tamil version of the film.
Though Abhishek has always been keen to be a part of Mani Ratnam film, he refused the offer because Abhishek felt that since he doesn’t know the language, he may not be able to do justice to his role.
So, whereas Abhishek wanted to do the role, he had to say No to the offer to work in Tamil version of the film because he cannot understand or speak the language.
