Akshay Kumar and Aishwarya Rai will be seen copying the hit jodis of 70s in Action Reply.

It is has been already reported that in his upcoming film Action Reply, through his looks and clothing sense, Akshay Kumar is trying to make you revisit the 1970s. But, it seems that the looks and the clothing sense of Akshay Kumar is just the beginning because director Vipul Shah is going all-out to recreate the magic of 1970s in the movie.

Sources suggest that Akshay and Aishwarya will perform on the numbers of the favorite jodis of 1970s and pay a tribute to these great artists of Bollywood. They will also try to recreate the chemistry that these hit jodis of 70’s had on the screen. Sources suggest that Akshay and Aishwarya are going to perform on songs of Amitabh Bachchan-Jaya, Dharmendra-Hema Malini, Rishi Kapoor-Neetu Singh, Rajesh Khanna-Mumtaz and Shashi Kapoor-Parveen Babi.

Talking about the song, Director Vipul Shah said, “This song, which will be shot in Manali, starts in a playful manner and then goes on to salute the stylish romance that was seen in  the 1970s.”

You may recall that something similar was also tried by Shahrukh Khan in his film Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, where Shahrukh paid a tribute to the stars of yester years through the song Phir Milenge Chalte-Chalte.

The only difference between the song in Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi and Action Reply will be that whereas Shahrukh was seen performing with various lead ladies of Bollywood, Akshay and Aishwarya may be recreating the magic of 1970’s all by themselves.

It will be interesting to see how Akshay and Aishwarya will look like Amitabh Bachchan-Jaya, Dharmendra-Hema Malini, Rishi Kapoor-Neetu Singh, Rajesh Khanna-Mumtaz and Shashi Kapoor-Parveen Babi when they copy these hit jodis of 1970s. But for that you will have to wait for the release of Action Reply.
