As the promos of We Are Family go on air, Ajay Devgan is rather surprised to see that Kajol and Kareena can be seen for the equal period of time in all promos of the film.
Sources close to Ajay say that he feels that Kajol and Kareena belong to two different league of actors and the makers of the film needed to put them in different categories by giving more importance to Kajol.
Ajay feels that Kajol is a far superior to Kareena both in terms of experience and talent. Though, Kareena may have been in limelight in recent years while Kajol has given more emphasis to her family life, the truth is that Kareena entered the industry in the year 2000 while Kajol has been in the industry for the last 18 years.
Speaking about the issue, Ajay said, “Kajol is the best actress in Bollywood. I will naturally look out for her interests in every way and in every campaign because she is my wife. But honestly, who am I to decide about how Karan should go about with the publicity of his film? Bebo is a friend but this is a very sensitive issue. I won’t be a hypocrite and say that I like Kajol and Kareena equally.”
Ajay’s showing concern over equal emphasis to both Kajol and Kareena in the promos of We Are Family is bit of a surprise because despite being very close to one another otherwise, both of them have made sure that they do not interfere in each-other’s professional life. Probably that’s the reason why Kajol is a little surprise to learn that Ajay is upset with Karan.
