Akshay Kumar is said to be hopeful about Housefull.
With the kind of hype Housefull is getting before its release, has made Akshay Kumar, one of the lead male star of the film, hopeful that the film will do well at the Box office.
Akshay expects that the situation for Hindi film industry, which has not been very encouraging this year, will change with his next release. You may recall that the biggest grosser of 2010 3 Idiots was actually released in 2009. Though, My Name Is Khan has had good collections this year, it hasn’t lived up to the expectations that the audience and the industry had from it.
Speaking about his expectations from the film, Akshay said, "Though one can never be sure, I feel that the film will do well at the Box office.”
Though like every other star in Bollywood, Akshay also feels nervous before every release of his and the situation is no different this time around, sources close to him point out that Akshay is happy that the promos of the film have been received well by the audience and as the date of release of the film has come closer, the curiosity among viewers about the film has steadily increased. But at the same time after being in the industry for almost 19 years, Akshay knows that Hindi film industry is a very unpredictable place and it would not be appropriate for him to boast about the film’s success even before its release.
Not only Akshay but the entire industry will be happy and celebrate if Housefull does well at the Box Office and after a series of flops in 2010, we eventually have a hit. So, along with Akshay the entire Hindi film industry is hopeful of Housefull’s success.
