Irrespective of whether it is coincidental or intentional, it seems Akshay Kumar’s life is following a certain trend these days. First Akshay does something, which becomes a big news, then Akshay suddenly goes abroad and from there informs the media that he is shocked to hear that the entire issue has been blown out of proportion.
First, it was the famous unbuttoning incident and now it is the much talked about kissing scenes in his recently released film Kambakkth Ishq. Akshay who was recently enjoying holidays in USA, has said that he is a little surprised to know that the kissing scenes with Denise Richards and Kareena Kapoor have become such a big news back home in India.
Speaking on the issue Akshay said, "Honestly, it was so much all of a sudden for me. Here I was holidaying with Twinkle, when I start getting these calls about my kisses with Denise and Kareena. I was stunned when people started asking me details around why, where and how. Frankly speaking, all of it has been blown out of proportion."
Akshay Kumar says that what actually surprises him that whereas there is plenty in the film to talk and write about, media has singled out his kissing scenes and written about it so extensively. “Moreover”, says Akshay, “The kissing scenes in the films with both Denise Richards and Kareena Kapoor are just casual peck and not passionate kisses as they are being made out to be.”
The only comfort in all this most probably is his wife Twinkle, who it seems perfectly understands and supports Akshay in this entire issue. Says Akshay, “Twinkle was quite amused and could not stop laughing when she read about all this. She knew all about this before hand only, which made her even more amused.”
