It has taken almost seven months to come and therefore its not just special but very special. Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor were thrilled by the grand opening their film Kambhakkt Ishq managed to get and decided to celebrate it.
And if Akshay is to be believed its just not about their film Kambhakkt Ishq any more. With the industry having to deal with many big problems like recession, the rift between producers and multiplex owners and a series of flop films, Akshay felt its high time that the entire industry got together and cheered whatever positive is taking place in the world of Hindi cinema. And Akshay decided to himself take the lead by throwing a party, where he not only celebrated the grand opening of his own film Kambhakkt Ishq but also the grand success of New York.
Apart from Kareena and himself, Akshay invited the stars of New York to this party including Katrina Kaif and John Abraham.
Reports suggest that Akshay also rang up Shahrukh Khan to be a part of the celebration, but since the King Khan is out of the country, he could not make it to this party.
But Akshay is not upset. He feels that the success of New York and the grand opening of Kambhakkt Ishq is just the beginning of the good times and industry getting back to track. And if good news keep coming in this way, there will be many more occasions to celebrate. May be Shahrukh can join in then.
