Aamir Khan
Whereas the news of a patch-up between one time good friends Shahrukh Khan and Salman Khan brought smiles on the faces of their fans, relations between two old pals and buddies, Aamir Khan and Saif Ali Khan, who have worked together in films like Parampara and Dil Chahta Hai, seem to have deteriorated this week.
Whereas Love Aaj Kal seems to have done wonders at the at the box office with its collection for the first three days after it release touching a whopping 28 crore and all critics giving it a big thumps-up, one man who seems to have rejected the movie completely is Aamir Khan.
It was probably for the sake of his old friendship with Saif that made Aamir go and watch Love Aaj Kal. Of course, when the media came to know that apart from you and me even Aamir Khan had gone to see Love Aak Kal, it couldn’t resist but ask him that how did he feel about the film?
Guess what Aamir’s answer was. Aamir quickly replied that he had loved the promos of Life Partner starring Govinda, Genelia D’Souza, Fardeen Khan and
Tushar Kapoor, clearly indicating that Aamir wasn’t too impressed with Love Aaj Kal and wanted to avoid talking about the film. Though alongside, a diplomatic Aamir was quick to add that it was not the story or Saif’s acting, which \had disappointed him, but it was Imtiaz’s direction that he felt let down with.
For the moment though, despite being extremely unhappy with Aamir’s harsh comments, Saif has decided to remain quite on the issue. People close Saif say that he is looking for an appropriate moment to reply to Aamir.
Though no one knows what that moment or reply will be, for the time being Aamir seems to have lost a good friend.
