Amrita Rao is excited about getting a call from Sooraj Barjatya.
Amrita Arora, whose Bollywood career is not going too well off-late, is said to be very excited about getting a call from director Sooraj Barjatya. Reports suggest that Suraj, who is allegedly working on his next film recently called-up Amrita to discuss a story idea with her.
A source close to Amrita said, “Amrita was called by Sooraj himself, who has expressed his desire to cast her in his next film, which the director is currently working on. It appears that Suraj is writing the film keeping Amrita in mind as the film will revolve around her character. It is a very strong character that the actor has to play and she is very happy after the two discussed the film and Amrita’s character in it.”
Reports further suggest that Sooraj is keen to not only cast Amrita in this upcoming film of his but is seriously thinking of casting her opposite Shahid Kapoor so that he can once again repeat the hit team of his film Vivah.
Though there is no formal announcement about this film from Suraj’s side, but if these reports are true then this is big news for Amrita, who hasn’t had a big hit for quite some time now. Otherwise also, though Amrita has been a part of hit projects like Masti and Main Hoon Na, her professional equation with both Sooraj and Shahid has been very special and Amrita must be keeping her fingers crossed so that the three of them together can come up with another hit like Vivah.
An excited Amrita must be hoping that Sooraj goes a step further than just giving her a phone call and discussing a project with her but also helps in putting her career back on track by making the film quickly.
