Everyone wants to make the best use of the little opportunities they get in life. Anushka Sharma is no exception. People want to take maximum advantage of the time when things are going good for them and they are on a high.
One person in Bollywood, who really wanted to make the best of opportunities she has got, is the lead female actress of Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, Anushka Sharma. After the grand success of her debut film at the box office, Anushka was flooded with one offer after another from big banners and producers, who are desperate to sign her for their upcoming projects.
But whereas the producers are eager to sign Anushka, it is Anushka who despite liking the roles being offered to her cannot sign the films because she is bound by a contract by Yash Raj Films, where she is suppose to do her first three projects with the company which launched her, before she can take up a project with any other banner.
Anushka surely made a good professional move by signing the deal with Yashraj, hoping that if her launch with the King Khan is successful, the production house will be eager to repeat her and cash-in on her success and she will be free from the binding of the contract even before she realizes it.
Though her initial plan did work as Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi was received well by the audiences, Anushka was in for a disappointment when along with asking her to keep a low profile, the banner took more than six months to start the second project with her.
Now, a desperate but helpless Anushka can just hope that there isn’t another six months gap between her second and third project and she is still fresh in both the audience and other film makers memory, when her deal with Yashraj Films comes to an end.
