Arshad Warsi is in trouble for smoking in a college campus after a complaint was filed in this regard against the Bollywood actor by a Goa’s Tobacco Control Cell official.
Reports suggest that National Organization for Tobacco Eradication general secretary Shekhar Salkar made a complaint to the state Tobacco Control Cell’s nodal officer Dr Ravindra Nadkarni in Goa in this regard, who then wrote a formal complaint to district superintendent of police saying that the Bollywood actor, who was shooting for a film in Chowgule College campus at Margao was seen smoking in the college compound.
Tobacco Control Cell said that they have received photographs that are a proof in this regard and show Ashard smoking in the college compound. Reports suggest that some pictures were clicked of Arshad along with young kids while he has cigarette in his hand.
Having been caught on the camera while smoking in a college, Arshad is in quite a bit of trouble now as notice has now been issued to him for violating a law, which prohibits smoking at public places like schools and colleges. But, he may still be saved and get out of trouble as the charges have not only been filed against Arshad alone but also the two big stars of the Hindi Film industry, Amitabh Bachchan and Shahrukh Khan, who have been seen violating the anti-smoking act by smoking in public places in the state of Goa. So, while the two mega stars use their influence to get their names cleared of these charges, even Arshad may also get saved.
