Madhur Bhandarkar and Ashutosh Gowariker are finghting over the title Mahi.
Two big directors of Bollywood Madhur Bhandarkar and Ashutosh Gowariker are at war with each-other and are fighting over the title Mahi. Both of them want to start a film with this name.
Reports suggest that whereas Ashutosh was keen to make a film with this title starring Priyanka Chopra and had registered this title with this purpose only, but despite everything being ready, the director hasn’t started any film with this name as yet. If fact, right now Ashutosh is said to be very busy giving finishing touches to his latest film Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey and has not announced what he plans to do next.
On the other hand, Madur is said to be ready with the script and want to start a film with this name starring Kareena Kapoor at the earliest.
Though given that both Ashutosh and Madhur are big directors, it is not a big issue for them to talk with each-other so that if Ashutosh is not ready with his film despite the fact that the concerned title is registered with him, Madhur can go ahead with his film.
But after Ashutosh criticized the jury of various award functions for favoring Priyanka’s performance in Madhur’s Fashion, the two directors have not been on talking terms and therefore cannot discuss the matter among themselves.
May be, instead of fighting over the title, Madhur should wait till Ashutosh finally completes Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey and announces his next film. If Ashutosh does not announce his next film with the name Mahi, Madhur still has hope and he can take the help of common friends to convince Ashutosh to let him use this title.
