Bollywood actor Neil Nitin Mukesh was recently mobbed by crowd in Mumbai, when he was roaming around the city on a bike shooting for a Yashraj’s untitled film.
Though, those in Yashraj Films tried their level best to keep the shooting schedule of the film, which was to feature the key stars including Neil and Kay Kay Menon going round the city of Mumbai on bikes a top secret and also enforced security guards, a group of crowd surrounded the two stars at Marine Lines area of Mumbai. Aware of the fact that some unwarranted incident can take place, the production unit had provided the stars with security guards, but things went out of control when they too failed to control the crowd from breaking the security cordon. Luckily, the security guards acting swiftly were able to get the situation under control and whisk away the two stars from the venue before they got harmed in any way.
Recalling the incident, Neil said, “Fortunately, Yashraj’s security arrangements are flawless. We never imagined there would be so many people on the streets post-midnight. I have never been out on Mumbai streets on such late hours of the night. This was the first time I was shooting on the streets of Mumbai after Sudhir Mishra’s ‘Tera Kya Hoga Johnny’."
Though, Neil cannot make too many complaints as it is a Yashraj Film, after this incident where he was mobbed by crowd while shooting for a film, he will think twice before moving out openly on the streets of Mumbai.
