Apart from signing A R Rehman as the composer and Anil Kapoor in a vital role in his movie Slumdog Millionaire, when the director of the film got up and waved to Shahrukh Khan at the Golden Globe award function, it became clear that director Danny Boyle had a lot of interest in Bollywood. The first thought that naturally came in everyone’s mind was that may be after Anil, Danny may be planning a film with Shahrukh in a vital or probably lead role.
But, it was only later that the Oscar winning director revealed the secret that he had quite a bit of knowledge about Bollywood and his favorite actor back here in Mumbai was neither Shahrukh nor Anil but Aamir Khan.
It now seems that Danny has got too serious about his favorite Bollywood star. Danny, who was recently in India, to help the two child artists of Slumdog Millionaire, is said to have had a private meeting with the Bollywood star.
Though, the details of the meeting are not known because both Danny and Aamir are tight lipped about it, sources say that the discussion were regarding Danny’s next film, which will also be based on India and may feature Aamir in an important role. Ever since Danny became a household name in India, he has expressed his desire to do a film with Aamir.
If the talks between the two materialize, this may be like a dream come true for Danny, who wants to do a film with Aamir for quite some time now.
