Gul Panag
In this era where information technology is so advanced, stars have various ways of being in touch with their fans. Apart from endless television channels, which cannot stop showing their face 24 hours a day, many big stars like Mr. Amitabh Bachchan and Aamir Khan have become quite famous for their blogs and what they write on them.
Where as the growth of information technology has made the process of creating a website or a blog so easy, like all other mediums, along with their advantages, these blogs and websites also have certain disadvantages.
This was evident recently when a comment was posted on the website and blog of Bollywood actress Gul Panag. This comment was extremely harsh in nature and severely criticized Gul for the way she wrote her blog. What was even more shocking for Gul was that the harsh comment was made my one of Gul’s producer and friend Ram Gopal Verma.
Gul Panag said he was shocked to read the comment. Says Gul, “I was shocked to see the comment because I never expected this kind of an outburst against me by a man, who otherwise has always been so good, kind and polite to me.”
Initially, Gul who was shooting for a Ram Gopal Verma’s film at that point of time, did not say anything to him hoping Verma would himself take the initiative to clarify the matter but when nothing of those sorts ever happened, one day thinking enough was enough, she decided take up the matter with Verma. So she walked up to Verma and directly asked him what did he really mean by those harsh comments?
But, what happened after that was even more surprising. The lady this time around was even more surprised than the time of reading the comments when Verma in return of her question asked her, “Which comments? I never wrote anything.”
Since Gul is satisfied, this matter stands closed. Gul now says that from now on she is going to always cross-check before reacting to any comments.
Hopefully all celebrities can do the same.
