Imran Khan
Though the two films old Imran Khan has impressed many with his acting skills, his dominating attitude at just the beginning of his career may not be a great sign for his future in the industry. Whereas when it comes to the production house of his Maamu Jaan, he is well behaved and disciplined, but as it is the trend in the industry, outside the family, people get to see a totally different Imran altogether.
This was evident when director Sanjay Gadhvi had to lose the opportunity to work with one of the most sought after actress of the day, Katrina Kaif, just because the unnecessary interference by Imran.
After the failure of his last film Kidnapp, Sanjay had recently started a new project to be produced by popular production house studio 18 and signed Imran Khan and Katrina Kaif for the lead roles.
But, as the director was getting all ready to start the first shooting schedule of the film, Imran is said to have met the director and got the script of the movie changed as per his personal convenience. This, in turn, is said to have reduced Katrina’s role in the movie to a considerable extent.
Sources say that an unsatisfied Imran while proposing the changes in the original script argued that he had blindly trusted Gadhvi, when they previously worked together in Kidnapp, which failed miserably at the Box office. Imran feels that its time Gadhvi returned that favor by listening to the actor on this occasion.
Whereas, Gadhvi had to oblige and return the favor to Imran by agreeing to the changes proposed by him, Katnira had no such favors to return. So, when she came to know that the director has made changes in the original script and cut down her role on Imran’s advise, she immediately walked out of the film.
Though Imran may not realize this but thanks to him, Gadhvi missed a chance to work with one of the most sought after female lead lady in Bollywood. But, tagged as flopped director, there isn’t much that Gadhvi can do about it right now.
