Imran Khan and Avantika Malik
On the occasion of their engagement, Imran Khan presented his fiancee Avantika with a special gift when he gave her Volkswagen Beetle.
Their special day for Imran Khan was made even more special when Bollywood star presented his fiancee Avantika with a Volkswagen Beetle car on the occasion of their engagement. The couple, who have been going round together for the past five years, got engaged on January 17, 2010.
A source close to Imran Khan said that Imran gifted Avantika, a red Beetle car as her engagement present, which he especially imported from Europe for this very special occasion.
While verifying that he had indeed presented the car to his fiancée, Imran said, “I knew that Avantika had always wanted this car, even six years back when the two of us were studying in the US. So, I just knew that I had to buy one for her and this occasion became just the perfect excuse. Since the car has just launched, I had to convince the top bosses to let me have it, way before it actually hits the roads in a few months time. Though that took quite an effort, there are no regrets as it put a smile on Avantika’s face.”
Imran further added, “We have also put matching number plates on our car, which are a combination of her and my birthdates.”
Imran had some of his close friend wish him on this occasion They included Aamir Khan, his wife Kiran, his children, Reena, Faisal Khan, Tahir Hussain, Mansoor Khan, Karan Johar, Kunal Kohli, Purab Kohli, Kunal Kapoor and Abhay Deol.
By getting engaged and presenting his fiancee Avantika with a Volkswagen Beetle as a special gift, Imran has shown how much he loves her and cherishes their five year old relation. It’s a happy beginning to a new chapter in their life. Hopefully they manage to keep it this way forever.
