Is Aamir Khan a selfish man? Yes, it seems so if you believe his co-star in Ghajini Jiah Khan. The sexy young lady, who became the talk of the town after her intimate scenes with Amitabh Bachchan in ‘Nishabd’, has said that Aamir did not let her expose in Ghajini even if she wanted to do so.
Jiah Khan revealed this in an interview when she was asked to compare her role in Ghajini with the character she portrayed in Nishabd. Zia said, ‘’ A complete opposite. I am covered up from head to toe. So even if I wanted to show a little bit of skin, Aamir and Murgadoss would cover me up.â€
Now, it may be interesting to note what both Aamir and Jiah Khan would be thinking on this issue.
What Ghajini has done is that it has brought Aamir in the same territory as Salman and Shah Rukh. Where as Salman got immense popularity by showing his bare chest in O, O Jaane Jaana in Pyar Kiya To Darna Kya and Shah Rukh’s six pack abs in Dard E Disco from Om Shanti Om brought the entire country virtually to a stand still, Aamir must be hoping that his physique and muscular body does create a rage and makes the film a hit.
But, probably, what Jiah Khan is worried about is the fact that she knows that she is neither a Kajol nor a Dipika Padukone, who will be able to leave an impact despite such big stars opposite them. Therefore, Jiah Khan must be wondering if she is not exposing, what for, her fans will come, to the cinema hall? Jiah Khan on her part is putting up a brave face as she says that rather being a sex symbol, the role of a medical student in Ghajini is a performance oriented one. Hopefully with Aamir making Jiah to be wrapped up in all her clothes, her performance oriented role is noticed at least by some people.
Just kidding. In fact Jiah Khan has thanked the team of ‘Ghajini’ for giving her this role. Lets see if she can deliver.
