According to a strange and not a very good trend in Bollywood, when a new actor is able to deliver a hit at the Box office, he tends to prefer signing films of bigger banners. In the very same way, when a director is able to deliver a hit, he surprisingly tends to leave the actors, who stood by him in difficult times and announces his next venture with some superstar, having bigger star value at the ticket window.
The latest person to join this trend is the director of the first hit of the Year 2008, Kabir Khan. After the super success New York at the Box office, the director is on a high as he is being praised all around for making a thought provoking film, which not only raised an issue but also entertains the audiences.
But now Kabir is going to make it really big. And unlike others, who themselves dream big after such a massive hit, Kabir hasn’t made any such plan own his own but has been asked to do so by none other than his producer Yash Raj films and Aditya Chopra.
Reports suggest that Aditya has asked Kabir to write his next film keeping in mind the Badshah of Bollywood, Shahrukh Khan. There are already talks in the industry that his next film is going to bring the two Khans together. No, its not Aamir and Shahrukh but it will be a combination of two Khans only when Kabir Khan directs Shahrukh Khan.
Kabir is already gearing-up to direct Shahrukh. As pert the instructions from his producer, after directing two hard hitting and realistic films like Kabul Express and New York, he has now started writing a light-hearted script that would excite Shahrukh Khan first and the Bollywood lovers after that.
