In an online survey conducted by an online marriage portal, Bollywood actress Kajol has been voted as the best daughter-in-law of Bollywood.
Kajol got over 43 percent votes in this online survey conducted on the occasion of women’s day, which saw over 25000 people participating in it.
Apart from Kajol, other women celebrities, who were a part of this online survey included Aishwarya Rai, Gauri Khan, Madhuri Dixit, Malaika Arora, Twinkle Khanna and Kiran Rao.
Kajol being chosen as the best daughter-in-law also signifies that people these days like ladies such as Kajol, who can give equal emphasis to both their persona and professional life and be successful at the two fronts.
Though Kajol being voted as the best daughter-in-law is nothing surprising considering she has been successfully married for over 11 years, one wonders, how much of it has to do with the recent success of My Name Is Khan, which featured Kajol in the lead role? Kajol is still fresh in the memory of people after the recent success of her film, whereas Aishwarya Madhuri, Malika and Twinkle have not had any big release in past some time and therefore are not in public memory for a long time. On the other hand, the other ladies figuring in the poll like Gauri Khan and Kiran Rao are the better half of Bollywood lead men.
