Is Kangana Ranaut going nude for a Telgu movie? How good or bad it would be for Indian cinema and society will only be known over a span of time, but Bollywood is changing. At a time when you were coming to terms with the news that stars like John Abraham and Niel Nitin Mukesh have appeared in front of the camera without any clothes, you are in for yet another surprise.
Sources say that the India film industry is willing to take the risk of even going a step further, where even our female lead actresses may well be trying something of the sorts as it has been tried by both John and Neil.
Reports indicate that Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut, who has recently been signed down South, when approached to do a nude scene in a Telgu movie, gave her consent for the same in principle.
This is not the first time that Kangana has come to limelight for such controversial scenes. On earlier occasions also, there have been a heated debate over some of her scenes in films like Fashion and Raaz, which as per some, were too bold in nature by Bollywood standards.
Whereas, common men like you and me have been debating for almost three decades that whether such scenes need to be a part of the film or not, a similar discussion has also taken place within the industry itself. Experts point out that it’s the makers prerogative what they want to shoot and a truly professional actor, should not make much of an issue about it.
Well, as far as Kangana Ranaut is concerned, when asked to comment, she spoke on expected lines and said that the scene was a demand of the script.
What film makers need to understand is that if such scenes become a usual part of films, the number of people visiting theaters may decrease even further because it is very difficult to watch such scenes sitting along with the family at least in present times . What happens few years later we don’t know.
