Karan Johar is very happy with the final shape of We Are Family.
2010 has been a very special and a memorable year for Karan Johar. Not only has his two earlier releases in 2010, My Name Is Khan and I Hate Luv Stories have been a huge success at the Box Office but as he gets ready to release his next production We Are A Family, there are huge expectations from the film and everyone feels the film to be a huge success.
One feature that is attracting everyone towards We Are A Family is its star-cast, which includes Kajol and Kareena Kapoor in the female lead roles. Though Karan can easily boast of the fact that this is not the first time that the two female lead stars are sharing the screen space since they have worked together in one of his previous projects Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham, he will have to acknowledge the fact that those were different times altogether. Since Kareena was not such a big name to recon with in those days, Kajol had to be the natural choice for the more prominent role in that movie.
So, with the changing of times and Kareena becoming the big star that she today is, did the ego of the two lead female stars of We Are A Family clash on the sets while making of the film?
Says Karan, “Contrary to what you may like to think, the two got along very well on the sets of the film. There were no fights and both of them worked as a team to give their best to the film.” He adds, “Both Kajol and Kareena suited their characters perfectly and it was not possible to think of making We Are A Family without the two being a part of it.”
Making We Are A Family has been a happy experience for Karan. Lets see if this happy experience continues at the ticket window?
