Ranbir Kapoor has said he was never offered a Karan Johar film.
Ranbir Kapoor is very upset with media for reporting that he had recently said no to a Karan Johar film, where he was to do a role along with Shahrukh Khan because he feared that while working along with Shahrukh Khan, he won’t be given a role where he can showcase his true potential. Ranbir Kapoor now says that there was no question of rejecting any offer of a film by Karan Johar, where he was to work with Shahrukh because he was never offered any such film in the first place.
Ranbir said he had already worked with Karan Johar’s banner in Wake Up Sid and that was a very good experience for him.
He said he has grown up watching Shahrukh films and it will be an honor for him to work with him irrespective of whatever role he gets with him.
Karan must be pleased with Ranbir expressing his interest in not only working with him but also showing interest in any project where he has to share screen space with Shahrukh Khan. May be after this statement by Ranbir,Karan can now go ahead with the film he was planning withSaharukh and Ranbir in key roles.
