We all know that if Shahrukh Khan was asked who his close friends in Bollywood are, he would take Karan Johar’s name in the very beginning and needless to say that if the same question is asked to Karan Johar, he will also not have to think twice before naming Shahrukh as one of his best friend. Moreover, for both Karan and Shahrukh this relation is not limited to their professional lives only but extends to personal lives as well.

Yes, since it helps them to produce and give Bollywood fans some good entertaining movies, no one has ever questioned or raised any doubts about this friendship, but now some people feel that this is getting far too much.

Sources point out that Karan is so conscious about his friendship with Shahrukh that he cannot even think of hurting or annoying either Shahrukh or his wife Gauri in his wildest dream, even if it means that he may have to hurt others in achieving this goal.

This was apparent on Karan’s birthday bash this year. Reports suggest that whereas Karan invited all his friends to his birthday party, he didn’t invite Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar because he did not want to upset either Shahrukh or Gauri, as if not both at least one of them was expected to grace the occasion.

While doing so, Karan not even considered the all-important factor that though he was not given due credit for it, Salman along with Shahrukh was an inseparable part of Karan’s first film as director, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai.

Though not in so many words, Karan did agree that he did not invite both Salman and Akshay only due to Shahrukh. When asked, Karan said. “I did not invite them because I did not want to create a scene.”

Of course, it is for you to decide that what Karan did was friendship or was it Chachagiri?
