With Kareena Kapoor slamming the veteran journalist and producer Pritish Nandy, a war of words has started between the two.
Kareena Kapoor is said to be extremely upset with Pritish Nandy, who in a post on his blog has called Kareena’s work in recently released film Kambakkht Ishq as a joke.
An angry Kareena said it seems Pritish has too much free time at his disposal, which he is wasting by writing unnecessary comments about others. She advised Pritish that it would be in his own interest if rather than commenting on others by writing blogs, he concentrates on his own work. Citing her own example, Kareena said she is so busy in her work that she neither has the time nor the desire to comment about others.
Kareena is said to be extremely pained by the fact that people like Pritish do not realize or appreciate the fact that whether it is a serious role like the one in his film Chameli or it is a light-hearted film like Kambakkht Ishq, for an actor both are the same and an actor has to perform both the roles with equal amount of effort and intensity.
Kareena says she feels sad that since Kambakkht Ishq is a fun film, most journalist and film critics had not taken it seriously and written it off without even waiting to see the public reaction towards the film. Kareena said now with the film being liked by people and declared a hit, this is the most appropriate reply to all such people.
Sources say that since Pritish had given her a major role of her life with Chameli, he felt that Kareena would take her his comments with good spirits but with the kind of outburst that has come from her side, Pritish is surprised and will need to think twice before saying anything about her in future.
