Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor
Can Kareena Kapoor and Shahid Kapoor come together again? Well, if the director of Jab We Met and Love Aaj Kal, Imtiaz Ali is to be believed, yes they can. Reports suggest that Imtiaz Ali, who created history of sorts by giving a hit to the duo of Kareena and Shahid after a number of flops they had together, is contemplating with the idea of making a sequel of the hit movie Jab We Met.
As Imtiaz puts it, “It`s an idea, yes. What happens to both the characters Geet and Aditya after they`ve met and have been through all those adventures? What happens to them after the point where the story ends in Jab We Met? I`m asked that question so many times that even I`ve started wondering regarding the future of Geet`s relationship with Aditya after we left them.”
Imtiaz further adds, “I don`t see a very pleasant future together for Geet and Aditya. They`re two such strong-headed individuals, there`s ought to be friction. Who knows, maybe Geet will go back to Anshuman . There`s certainly an element of curiosity for me about what happened to these two characters and where do they go.”
Its certainly not a bad idea for Imtiaz to try this option out because if there is any director in Bollywood, who can bring Kareena and Shahid back in the same frame, its him. Though, the director had decided not to opt for Kareena when it came to choosing the lead actress for Love Aaj Kal, Imtiaz still remains one of her favorite director and Kareena may not like to say no to him if he asks. Even Imtiaz knows that fairly well and feels that it should not be a big problem for him to bring both Kareena and Shahid together. Moreover, having broken the initial hesitance, by sharing the screen in Milenge Milenge after their break-up, both of them may not be adverse to the idea of another professional re-union.
