Katrina Kaif recently said No to a movie with Akshay Kumar.
Whereas Akshay Kumar may consider Katrina Kaif lucky for himself and may consider her absence from films like Chandni Chowk to China as the reason for their faliure, the most successful of Bollywood in recent times has no such notions.
Despite the fact that thy have come to be known as one of the most successful on-screen pair of the their time, Katrina recently refused a film with Akshay.
Even after all the hits in last few years, it seems no one including Katrina, Akshay, their producers and the audience is tired of watching them together. This was evident when the two were signed for Farah Khan’s Tees Maar Khan recently, Despite this, Katrina is in no mood to say Yes to every movies she is offered along with Akshay, if she does not find the role interesting enough.
Reports suggest that whereas producer-director Anees Bazmee was keen on signing signing Katrina opposite Akshay in his upcoming movie Thank You, against all expectations, Katrina said No to the the film.
Sources close to Katrina say that the lead lady of Bollywood refused the project as she signs every movie after taking into account the merits and drawbacks of the concerned project and is not ready to be a part of a film just because she has been offered a role opposite Akshay.
Sources add that Katrina is also keen to focus on only a few films and wants to give her best to those movies. Rather than signing one film after another, she wants to give her best to films like Raajneeti and Zindagi Milegi Na Dobara, in which she is said to have very powerful roles.
So, all the producers, who want to sign Katrina should offer her good roles rather than hoping that she will say Yes to a role just because she is being offered a film with Akshay. If the role is not good, you are more likely to hear a No from her.
