Lara Dutta will play an important character in Don 2.
After Lara Dutta played an important role in the success of the recently released Housefull and her performance was appreciated by all those who watched the movie, Lara Dutta has suddenly come in demand in Bollywood. Reports suggest director Farhan Akhtar has signed Lara to play an important character in Don 2, his ambitious project with Shahrukh Khan.
While reports suggest that Lara has been finalized for a negative character in the film producer Ritesh Sidhwani and director Farhan are not ready to reveal anything on this issue and remained tight-lipped when asked about Lara’s inclusion in the film.
Interestingly different reports are being floated about Lara’s character in the film. Whereas initial reports suggested that Lara was to replace Esha Kopikar in the film, the latest reports suggest that a new character has been written and included in Don 2, which will now be played by Lara.
Sources add that Lara is also going to learn martial arts for the action-packed role in the film.
So, after the success in Housefull, Lara will now be seen playing an important character in Don 2, with Shahrukh Khan in the lead role. Lara must be hoping that the film will be another milestone in her career.
