Bollywood actor Madhavan is said to be thrilled by the success of 3 Idiots and has praised Raju Hirani for his great work.
Bollywood actor Madhavan is extremely happy with the response his new film 3 Idiots has got at the Box Office. Further, what makes him even more thrilled is the fact that though the film was promoted as an Aamir Khan film, the performance of both Madhavan and Sharman Joshi is equally important in the film and is being appreciated by everyone, who has seen the film.
Speaking about 3 Idiots, Madhavan said that for him the film has brought a perfect end to 2009. The year began for him with 13B and though the film did not do well at the box office, Madhavan’s performance was appreciated by whoever saw the film. And now, its 3 Idiots, where not only has his performance been appreciated, but the film has taken a record opening.
Adds Mdhavan, “Right from the start, when I signed the film, it was the most special Bollywood outing for me. I was always keen to work with Raj Kumar Hirani. It wasn’t because he had given two super hits in a row but because I had heard legendary tales about his direction. It is rare to see someone who is so unanimously popular. He is a great human being and I like to work with such people.”
Madhavan said that it feels great that he has been associated with 3 Idiots since its early stages when Hirani was actually planning the film. Madhavan said that he was looking forward to working with Raju Hirani since that time only because he liked the project when he first heard it.
Thrilled by the success of 3 Idiots, Madhavan said that he always knew that Raju will make a great film and with the film doing well at the box office, he has been proved right.
