Sonakshi Sinha and Malaika Arora
Malaika Arora is upset with Sonakshi Sinha for dancing on Munni Number.
Malaika Arora Khan is upset with the lead female star of Dabangg Sonakshi Sinha because she is being appreciated for performing on the famous number Munni.
Though Malaika may be performing the song this New Year eve, Sonakshi performed on the number recently at the Sahara India Sports Awards 2010. It was the first stage performance of the young lead lady from Bollywood and she did an exceptionally good job for which she was highly appreciated. This has not gone well with Malaika.
It seems that since Dabangg was produced by Malaika’s husband Arbaaz Khan and the number was performed by her in film, Malaika feels that the number is her personal property and no one has a right to publicly perform the Munni song. Maliaka is said to have told the organizers of Sahara India Sports Awards 2010 that it was not a great idea on their part to make Sonakshi perform only on this number.
By making Sonakshi dance on this number on national Television, Sahara India Sports Awards 2010 organizers have not only showcased the dancing talent of Sonakshi but have also made people think that even other people can perform on this number as good as Malaika, if not better than her.
May be, with Sonakshi performing at this number at Sahara India Sports Awards 2010, she has sent out an open message to everyone that Malaika is not the only one who can create magic on Munni song. Even others are equally capable of doing the same. This reduces Malaika’s importance. Now organizers of many New Year Eve parties can think of having other lead ladies from Bollywood including Sonakshi perform this number at the upcoming New Year Eve.
