Nana Partaker is getting ready to direct a Bollywood film.
Bollywood actor Nana Patekar recently said that he is getting ready to direct his second Hindi film. Verifying the reports of his plans to direct a Movie after almost two decades, Nana said, “Yes, I am directing a film.”
Elaborating his plans, Nana added, “I have already written the script of the film and have selected Deepika Padukone to play the female lead role. I haven’t yet finalized any other artists and technicians for the film.”
Nana said that after Rajneeti, which he has just completed, he doesn’t plan to sign any new movie and concentrate solely on his next directorial venture. Nana added that he will soon take break from his work and go to his native village in Maharashtra and make final preparations for the film. Nana said, “Though the final date for the launch of the film has not been decided but everything would be worked out soon.”
By making Prahaar in 1991, Nana had proved that he is not only an intense actor but also an intense film maker. Now, as he gets ready with his second directorial venture, one should expect a good and an intense movie in the offering. We are waiting.
