Priyanka Chopra may have to cancel her Television game show because no cricketer is likely to be a part of her sow.
One person in Bollywood, who has been negatively affected by all the recent controversies in the world of cricket, whether it is the IPL controversy involving Lalit Modi or India’s loss at the T20 world cup or the incident at pub in West Indies, is Priyanka Chopra. After all these controversies, no cricketer is likely to be a part of her show
Reports suggest that to make the 13 episode reality game show Khatron Ke Khiladi, which Priyanka is hoping to host on Television this year successful, she was trying to rope in some famous cricketers both from India and other countries. But with so many controversies surrounding both the cricketers and the game, it now seems that none of the cricketers at least from India are going to be a part of the show.
Despite her show getting negatively affected by no cricketer being a part of it, Priyanka is very excited and optimistic about her Television show. While speaking about it, Priyanka said, "It feels really good to be associated with one of the biggest shows on Indian television today. It suits perfectly with my personality. I have been a huge fan of the show and I used to thoroughly enjoy watching it. I am looking forward to begin an all new innings in TV with this show.”
Reports suggest that after all the recent embarrassments it has had to face both due to players and officials, the BCCI may not may not be too keen to let it players be a part of any Television game show.
Television shows these days run on the basis of TRPs. But with cricketers not being a part of Khatron Ke Khiladi, even if her show is not canceled, it will surely be more difficult for Priyanka to run it. Let us see if she is successful.
