The Roshan family are having a bad time off late with nothing going right for them.
The Roshan family including both daddy Rakesh Roshan and his son Hrithik are going though a bad time off-late and nothing seems to be going right for them as they face various problems regarding their latest production Kites.
The movie, which was originally suppose to hit the theatre in 2009, is still awaiting release at cinema halls.
Kites was suppose to be a very ambitious project of the Roshan family as they expected the film to launch Hrithik’s career on an international level. But, this dream of the Roshan family got a major setback when the response to the film at the Cannes Film Festival last year was rather negative, forcing the Roshans to edit the film all over again.
Reports suggest that the idea to edit the film all over again has not gone too well with Anurag Basu, the director of the film, who is said to be having serious differences with producer Rakesh Roshan over this issue and does not want to professionally associate with him any more. Probably, this is the reason why keeping Anurag aside, Rakesh has now asked the director of 3 Idiots Rajkumar Hirani to edit the film.
Well, whatever may be the reason behind the delay of Kites, one person who is the biggest loser in all this is Hrithik. The talented actor, who has put a lot on stake with Kites, hasn’t had a decent release in almost two years. And with both his upcoming releases including Kites and Gujarish running into controversies, it is sad to see that no one has been able to tab Hrithik’s talent after the grand success of Jodha Akbar almost two years ago.
So, with no major releases in last two years and his forthcoming films going through a rough weather, it seems that Hrithik and Roshan family is going through a bad time off-late and nothing is going right for them. They must be hoping that 2010 is better for them.
