Have you had the opportunity to see Kambakkht Ishq? Well those who have were slightly surprised, when during the featuring of the initial credits of the film, one of the names which flashed on screen was that of actress Pooja Batra.
The talented actress, who impressed everyone with her impressive performance in the film Virasat, which was released in 1997, has been missing from the Bollywood scene for quite some time now. So, was this her come back film?
Well, if you are a Pooja Batra fan, you were in for a disappointment since after her name being featured on the screen at the beginning of the film, she was nowhere to be seen in the film. So why did her name featured in the first place?
While solving this puzzle, sources close to Kambakkht Ishq ‘s producer Sajid Nadiadwala said, “Pooja was instrumental in fixing meeting with some of the big stars of Hollywood like Sylvester Stallone, Denise Richards and Brandon Routh. As we all know, Pooja has now got married and settled is LA and when we got to know that she is in touch with some of the Hollywood bigwigs, we immediately asked her if she could set our meeting with a couple of them. She was more than helpful and got in touch with all her links. So, we had to thank her.”
Reports indicate that Sajid Nadiadwala was so pleased with Pooja that he not only thanked her in the beginning of the films but invited Pooja to one of the special screenings of the film.
