Prakash Jha is in a great hurry to finish Raajneeti.

Director Prakash Jha, whose film Raajneeti is about to hit the theatres in couple of weeks time, is in a difficult situation these days. Whereas he still has time to give the finishing touches to the film, the director is in a great hurry and wants to finish the film at the earliest.

Jha is in a hurry because before the film actually reaches the audience, it is to be shown at the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) screening, starting June 3 in Colombo. So, whereas till now Jha was working keeping in mind the date of release as the deadline, now he has to reschedule all his work and set June 3 as his deadline to complete the film.

This is not going to be an easy task for the director given that he still has to shoot an important song for the film before it is complete..

Another problem for Jha is that though filming this song will not be a big problem for the director, the song Dhan-Dhan Dharti, which is being composed by international musician Wayne Sharpe and will be inspired by the historic tune of Vande Mataram may take some time to get recorded.

But given that ever since they were started a couple of years back, IIFA awards have become quite a prestigious event relating to Bollywood, screening of Raajneeti at the IIFA in Colombo will be very big honor for the maker of the film. Surely Jha would not like to miss this opportunity of special screening at IIFA and will make all efforts to finish the film in a hurry before June 3 so that it can be screened at the event.
