Ranbir Kapoor, Prakash Jha and Katrina Kaif
Prakash Jha has called Rajneeti a complete film.
Film maker Prakash Jha, whose much-awaited film Rajneeti, which is said to be a political drama and is going to release in a couple of week’s time, has said that this is the most complete film he has ever made.
Speaking about the film at a press conference a couple of days back, the director said, "Rajneeti has been a very long journey. It is a film about politics and tries to cover various aspects involved in politics including personal, family, social, state, national. Basically, the film tries to showcase what happens in day to day politics. And I think this is my most complete film."
Prakash Jha said making Rajneeti was also a great experience because he got to work with both Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif.
Praising Ranbir Kapoor, the director said, "I am grateful to god that Ranbir agreed to a part of this film. He has put in a lot of effort to play his character and he has done it with utmost honesty.”
Speaking about Katrina Kaif, Jha said, "Katrina is most inspiring in her quality of work, innocence, honesty and dedication. The movie was very tough for Katrina and it took a lot of courage and confidence on part of her to carry out this character properly. But she did it with perfect ease.”
Jha also praised Katrina for the effort she has put in to learn Hindi for the film.
Dismissing the fact that Katrina’s character was based on late Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, the director said that though the film was based on the political system of the country, it is not based on any political party or leader in particular.
Jha feels that Rajneeti is a complete film and making it has been a very fulfilling experience for him. This experience will become even more memorable if the film does well at the box office.
