Rani Mukherjee
Anything for a hit film. Of course, irrespective of how good a Bollywood actor is and how well his or her career graph is looking at a given point of time, it is difficult to find a star, who wouldn’t wish and pray for his or her film to do well at the Box office. But, these wishes and prayers become even more important and relevant when your films are not doing well at the Box office.
And, one person, who is desperately wishing and praying for a hit these days in Rani Mukherjee. As the date of her big release Dil Bole Hadippa approaches close, Rani is not only getting anxious but restoring to some unusual and unorthodox methods to ensure that the film is a success at the Box office.
First, as you may recall, Rani expressed her desire to shift back to her old house before the release of the film saying that the particular house was lucky for her. If that was not enough, Rani is now going to keep 40 weeks fast to seek God’s blessings so that Dil Bole Hadippa does well and is able to bring Rani’s good days back. Sao, from now on, Rani is not going to eat anything every Thursday.
Alongside, Rani is also under tremendous pressure from the press, which has repeatedly written that Dil Bole Hadippa is going to be the last film that can help her make a comeback and if this film fails at the box office, she might well have to pack her bags from the industry. Sources close to Rani say that she feels fasting helps her to deal with the pressure she is going through right now in an appropriate and better manner.
Needless to say Rani is a seasoned campaigner to understand that it is not the changing of the house or fasting that is going change her fortunes. For that she needs a good film and if Dil Bole Hadippa not a good film, her fortunes will not be revived irrespective of what she does.
