Arshad Warsi
If you are making a film and a part of it is not shot abroad, then probably its not a Bollywood film. Many Indians who have never been abroad or cannot even think of going there, get to watch the entire world either in a cinema hall or on the Television lying in their sitting room.
But surely whereas it is so easy for you to slam these producers for copying each other and taking their units abroad even when this is not necessary, just think how difficult it would be for these producers, who have to find a new location for shooting every time they go abroad.
Arshad Warsi probably met with similar problem when he was recently shooting for his first home production Kaun Bola. But then Arshad came up with a unique idea when he decided to shoot on New Castle Street in Westminster.
This street is said to be the busiest street in entire Britain and is known to be full with people round the clock. In fact, Arshad is the first producer, who has got permission to shoot on this busy street, something which has surprised many including those in England.
Reports also suggest that Arshad was not only allowed to shoot on the street but also got the permission to halt the movement of traffic and passers-by, which is said to be an unimaginable thing to do in this busy area.
Apart from being the first to shoot on New Castle Street in Westminster, another good news for Arshad is that the film is said to have come up well and those who have seen parts of it are said to be quite impressed by it.
Arshard must now be hoping that the film gets completed at the earliest and is able to release soon.
