As the date of the release of Kaminey draws close, viewers expectations from the movie are also increasing. After the grand success of New York and Kambakkht Ishq, Kaminey is going to be the next big release at the Box Office and people hope that the film will help continue the good trend, which has recently been established at the ticket window.
But, sources say that nothing is going right for Kaminey before its release at the Box office on August 14 and the reason for this being the rift between the three leading stars of the film, namely, the lead actor Shahid Kapur, lead actress Priyanka Chopra and the director of the film Vishal Bhardwaj.
Whereas, the news of hot and cold relationship between Priyanka and Shahid hit the headlines on a daily basis, which has allegedly prompted them to promote the film separately, the latest addition to this is the news of growing rift between Shahid and Vishal Bhardwaj.
Sources close to both Shahid and Vishal Bhardwaj point out that problems between the two started when Vishal told Shahid that rather than concentrating on his looks and other petty issues, if he puts all his efforts in his roles and acting, he would do his career a lot of good.
The relations between the two deteriorated even further, when a couple of days back, Shahid went to Vishal’s office and the two had a heated argument over some issue.
Among the two, the person, who stands to lose the most from this rift, is Shahid. Shahid has a double role in the film and if Kaminey does not fair well at the Box office, it will certainly have an adverse effect on Shahid’s career. Vishal after showing his potential in Maqbool and Omkara has become one of the most sought after director in Bollywood and therefore may not be affected by the by the failure of Kaminey to that extent.
