Director Sajid Khan is having a tough time shooting for an item number for his upcoming film Houseful because he is facing a stiff opposition from both the lead ladies of the film.
Though the film features Deepika Padukone and Lara Dutta in the lead role, Sajid Khan was quite keen to rope in the lucky charm of the present day, Katrina Kaif to perform this special number Apni To Jaise Taise from the super hit film Lawaris featuring Amitabh Bachchan in the lead role, which will now be repeated in Houseful.
Despite the fact that she is not a part of Houseful otherwise, Katrina agreed to do this item number as she very well knew that even after around 30 years after the release of Lawaris, this peppy song is still popular among masses.
Director Sajid Khan was immensely happy to rope in Katrina but he forgot that if Katrina can figure out the popularity of the number from Lawaris, so could the two regular lead ladies of the film Deepika and Lara. Reports suggest both Deepika and Lara were very upset with the idea of Katrina performing on Apni To Jaise Taise and had a huge argument with Sajid Khan forcing him to change the sequence of the item number so that both of them could be a part of it.
Contrary to what you may think, rather than solving Sajid’s problems, this move compounded his problems even further as Katrina has now backed-off from being a part of the item number after she came to know that she will have to be in the same frame as Deepika, with whom, her relations are not at their best ever.
All the three ladies are now giving a tough time to director Sajid Khan, who is now clueless about how to shoot this important song without disappointing any of the three ladies.
