Hrithik Roshan and Salman Khan
Salman Khan is caught in war of words with Hrithik Roshan and Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
A war of words has erupted between Salman Khan on one side and Hrithik Roshan and director Sanjay Leela Bhansali on the other side as Salman Khan heavily criticized the new film Guzaarish. Using very strong words against the film, Salman Khan had said that even dogs won’t like to watch Guzaarish.
The exceptionally strong words used by Salman Khan once again reinforce the point that has always been said about him, Salman Khan does not forget and forgive his enemies so easily. Salman Khan has not one but two big reasons to dislike Guzaarish as he is not on good terms with neither the director of the film Sanjay Leela Bhansali nor the lead lady Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.
If sources are to be believed, Salman Khan is said to be unhappy because the initial idea to make this film had come from Salman Khan only. It was Salman, who had presented the DVD of The Prestige, the film on which Guzaarish is based to Bhansali. At that point of time, the director had promised Salman that he would be cast in the Hindi remake of The Prestige but when the film went on the floor., it was Hrithik Roshan, who was preferred for the role.
After Salman slammed the film and the film maker Bhansali, Hrithik has come to their defense. Hrithik said it was wrong to say such unfriendly words to someone just because his film failed at the box office. Hrithik added that Bhansali is one of the most reputed and respected film makers from Bollywood and it is wrong to criticize him and his work in this manner.
Irrespective of who says what, something that actually matters in Bollywood is the performance of the film at the box office. But now, as Guzaarish has been labeled as a flop, an already saddened director of the film Bhansali does not want to get into any kind of war of words. He has said that keeping his old friendship with Salman in mind, he forgives him for any comment he has made.
