Salman Khan
While stars like Aamir Khan and Shahrukh Khan came all the way from abroad to cast their vote and many other Bollywood stars like the Bachchans took some time off to cast their vote, one man who skipped a visit to the polling booth was none other than Salman Khan.
Salman’s absence from the polling station has been taken note of by the media in particular because Salman had widely campaigned for all his friends in these elections and requested people to come out of their home and cast their vote. But, just before the voting day in Mumbai, Salman reportedly left for London.
Salman’s decision to stay away from voting is being criticized because people say that he should have practiced what he preached. When he is asking others to vote, he should have stayed back in Mumbai and voted himself also.
It needs to be recalled here that Salman campaigned for many people across party lines in these elections including Vinod Khanna, Milind Deora and Anu Tandon.
May be, as he couldn’t figure out which party to campaign for and ended up supporting candidates of both the main political parties, he skipped voting since he couldn’t decide whom to vote for.
